Have you

Have you felt the world within you

Have you noticed the world around you

Have you realized how the prior influences the latter

How the invisibility of thoughts is a mask of innocence

How the appearance of emptiness is explained as nothingness

How easy it is to believe it

Do you understand that the words you speak silently to yourself are your own translations

Do you understand that you are not responding to the events that occur, but instead to the words that have formed because of them

Do you understand that you are not these words that automatically appear, you are the one who watches them

Have you felt the space between the internal and external

Have you noticed the gap that occurs as you process the world around you before responding to it

Have you realized how sometimes you cannot see it because you are no longer watching

How the pressure of productivity demands external awareness

How the encouragement of output breeds imbalance

How easy it is to distract yourself from it

Do you understand how valuable your time and energy are

Do you understand how important allocating some of those resources to yourself is

Do you understand that finding stillness, even just for a moment allows you to return within

Have you felt your feelings lately

Have you noticed your thoughts today

Have you realized how powerful your breath is yet
